We at City Property Finance entered the bond origination business in 2006 after being in commercial and private banking for more than 20 years where we also had extensive exposure in the property market and related financing options available.This happened after we were asked by a very successful property developer in the Western Cape and their attorneys to assist them in obtaining the best possible financing options for their end user clients (buyers of the properties).We have agreements in place with the four big commercial banks (Absa, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank) in South Africa through Mortgage Max to ensure that we can indeed assist our clients with placing the bond at the bank of their preference while still being able to also compare the offers from some of the other banks to ensure they indeed do get the best deal possible.

Although the bulk of our clients buy in the approved developments we service, we also assist estate agents, their buyers as well as any property buyer (private or through and estate agent) in obtaining their bonds. We are Cape Town (Durbanville) based but we can indeed assist a client from anywhere in the world in obtaining property finance in South Africa subject to the rules that apply at that point in time.

We at City Property Finance are all ex-bankers with years of experience in the property finance market and we keep current on all the rules and regulations that might apply from bank side as well as from a regulatory point of view. This is backed up by also keeping up to date with all academic qualifications that is required from a person operating in this financial sector as such.

The volume as well as quality of business that we place with the banks have also assured that we frequently receive awards from the banks and Mortgage Max and we recently again achieved the award as the Top Independent Originator (second place ) in the Western Cape from Mortgage Max.
